Our undeniably talented boss lady Solange will be collaborating with the Red Bull Music Academy in New York to add to its running list of groundbreaking performances at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum on May 18th, 2017. Solange will activate the museum’s iconic Rotunda space with an interdisciplinary performance piece and meditation examining themes from A Seat at the Table through movement, installation work, and experimentation through re-constructing musical arrangements.
The album garnered commercial and critical acclaim all while carving out a lane of its own in the musical arena. Solange who shares both personal and political views on the album is ready to reveal a live visual component with unique arrangements.
